Wilbur-Ellis is seeking a Field Services technician with experience in using agricultural equipment to transport, set up and calibrate applicator equipment used by the growers in the field. This position will inspect vehicle and equipment every time they are used and complete documentation of bulk material. Responsibilities include
• Take out, set up, and calibrate equipment to be used by the growers in the field
• Ensure Company vehicle and equipment are maintained in good working order and operate them in a safe and legal manner
• Complete daily vehicle and equipment inspections every time vehicle and/or equipment are used
• Maintain a professional image to customers of our services and equipment
• Interact with clients in a productive manner. Contact Salesman to resolve any disputes.
• Make sure materials are properly distributed and move tanks as needed
• Properly identify and label ALL bulk material transported and remove all documents from equipment upon return
• Keep clean and efficient housekeeping of yard, office space, work shop, equipment, and personal vehicle
• Complete proper documents for tracking of equipment and carry all appropriate shipping documents for accurate invoicing and compliance
• Maintain all licenses to comply with regulatory agencies
• Additional duties as requested

• High school diploma or achievement of high school diploma equivalent (GED)
• Two or more years of work experience operating, repairing, and maintaining diesel and gasoline type engines and hydraulic equipment. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with accuracy and speed.
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Working knowledge of safety practices and procedures while making mechanical repairs\Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail along with ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously to completion within deadlines
• Ability to physically stand; talk and hear, walk and use hands and fingers, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, hand tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally more than 100 lbs.
• Working conditions may include working near moving mechanical parts, outside weather, wet and/or humid conditions, and fumes
